At Cactus Cancer Society, our vision is to end isolation among young adults with cancer.
We are dedicated to providing online survivorship support and have been looking for new ways to harness our strengths in creating a safe space for expressing courageous creativity, building inclusive community, and practicing resilience and fortitude.
This year, we started a brand new program that’s designed to bring young adults facing cancer together over a meditative LEGO-building activity. These Builders Workshops allow young adult cancer patients and survivors to connect with their peers while expressing themselves creatively and learning calming coping skills. We’re committed to raising $7,000 before the end of the year to provide 200 supply boxes for our Builders Workshops.
