We’re running a focus group around the topic of age-appropriate patient education and communication with support from Daiichi Sankyo. The Focus Group will include discussion surrounding patient preferences on how to be educated about their disease, treatment options, the timing of certain discussions and when best to broach certain topics, and an exploration into how best to explain scientific and medical ideas surrounding treatment decisions and treatment efficacy. Overall, the Focus Group will center on how to provide information and education to young adults facing cancer in a way that is easily understandable, engaging, and suitable.
Who? Any young adult facing cancer. The group will also be formed to represent a variety of experiences and perspectives.
When? Thursday, June 23rd, 4-6 pm PT / 6-8 pm CT / 7-9 pm ET
How does it work? Sign up here! Within a week, we’ll reach out to let you know if your perspective can be added to the Focus Group.
