Calling all Artists!
The best travel posters can inspire you to drop everything you’re doing and dump your savings into a well-planned or spontaneous itinerary. They can immediately whisk you away to the far corners of the Earth and without leaving the place you’re standing – whether that’s Peru or Poughkeepsie.
Cactus Cancer Society may not have a physical brick-and-mortar location, but the virtual place that we’ve built over the years has a semblance of a relaxing, safe, and cozy creative nook. It’s that place you go for sparking creativity and the ability to cultivate real healing among your peers.
We wonder: what would a travel poster to Cactus HQ and / or a Cactus Cancer Society program look like? Is it an old-school national park design with luscious cacti, daring you to adventure? Or is it more of a modern-day poolside ad, drawing you in to relax outside of your normal element? We’re ready to find out.
Announcing the Cactus Cancer Society Travel Poster Contest!
Here’s how to participate:
- Design a travel poster for Cactus Cancer Society. (Original artwork only, please!)
- The contest will be open to design submissions from July 1 – July 31 by 12:00am PST.
- The Cactus Cancer Society community will vote for a winner in the beginning of August and we’ll announce a winner no later than August 15th.
- The featured winner will receive a Cactus Cancer Society prize pack with a value of $100 and the runner-up will receive a Cactus Cancer Society prize pack with a value of $50!
The winning design will be featured on our website and in our online shop on a poster and greeting cards, so anyone can pin up your poster in their home and be whisked away to another world! Please note that images become the property of Cactus Cancer Society upon submission.
