Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving back. On the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, you’ll have the chance to join people around the world and support a cause close to your heart.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to support young adult cancer patients and survivors through one of the most challenging times of their lives. Providing an outlet for healthy expression of complex emotions through art, writing, or other creative coping activities in connection with their peers can lead to quality of life benefits for young adults facing cancer. Our programs are backed by research that shows the value of these activities in helping to reduce anxiety, depression, and psychological distress.  After joining our Art Workshops, 100% of young adults facing cancer said they felt better after sharing their feelings in their crafting or artwork.
Help Cactus Cancer Society give the gift of connection and creative expression to 100 young adult cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. By joining together this Giving Tuesday, you’ll provide art supply boxes so that young adults facing cancer have everything they need to express themselves creatively and connect with others who know what they’re going through in one of our art workshops.
