Wendy Poage, MHA, BCPA is a nationally recognized patient advocacy leader with more than 30 years of experience advancing patient-centered care across healthcare, nonprofit, and pharmaceutical organizations. Throughout her career, she has worked to elevate the patient voice, improve access to care, and build programs that address the real-world needs of individuals and families navigating serious illness.
Wendy is the founder of Global Patient Outcomes, a consulting practice focused on patient engagement strategy and community partnerships. Her background includes leadership roles at Servier Pharmaceuticals, Shire, the University of Colorado Cancer Center, and the Prostate Conditions Education Council.
As a Board Member of Cactus Cancer Society, Wendy is passionate about expanding support, connection, and resources for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) impacted by cancer. She brings extensive expertise in patient advocacy, nonprofit partnerships, strategic planning, and program development, with a particular focus on ensuring that the voices of patients and caregivers shape the future of healthcare.
Wendy is dedicated to helping Cactus Cancer Society strengthen its impact and continue creating meaningful opportunities for AYAs to find community, support, and hope throughout their cancer experience.
