The Inner Canvas

The Inner Canvas is our monthly “creative smorgasbord” drop-in where anything goes, and everything is art. Think of it as the place where all your favorite CCS creative vibes meet in one room. Journaling? Yes. Doodling? Absolutely. Collage, neurographics, watercolor, poetry, sensory prompts, journaling pages, guided reflection, imagination breaks? All fair game.

Each month, this 90-minute special drop-in explores a new theme designed to help young adults facing cancer tap into meaning, expression, grounding, resilience, and a little bit of magic. You get to choose your path. Grab whatever supplies you love or whatever is in reach, follow the guided prompts, and let your creativity do the talking. There is no right way to show up. There is only your way.

Whether you arrive needing a soft landing, a burst of inspiration, shared laughter and silliness, a moment to breathe, or simply an hour to create with people who get it, The Inner Canvas is here to hold it all. Explore. Play. Reflect. Make a mess. Make something beautiful. Make something weird. You cannot do this wrong, because it is your Inner Canvas!

Come as you are. Leave with a little more of you.

Keep an eye on our website, newsletter, or socials for announcements of monthly Inner Canvas happenings!

💬 Please note: Inner Canvas workshops do not include mailed art supplies. You’ll need something to draw with and something to draw on to participate!
