Coffee + Oodles

Come to this weekly drop-in program which takes a typical journaling format and gives you a chance to respond to a prompt in whichever medium speaks to them most: drawing or writing.

Unspoken Whispers

Join us for this brand-new drop-in writing program! In this program, the facilitator provides a writing prompt and you can use that prompt in any way you’d like to create a story over a set amount of time. Once we’ve finished, everyone is given the opportunity to read their writing out loud.

Art Workshop: Pressed Leaf Lanterns

Join 25 of your young adult cancer peers, ages 18-45, through a seven-week program experience where you’ll hit the highlights of Cactus Cancer Society’s workshops, both on Zoom and in a dedicated Facebook group.

Join us for our final Unspoken Ink send-off as we transition the program into retirement!

Family Art Time: LEGO Monsters

Cactus Cancer Society and Bright Spot Network Present Family Art Time! Join us for a parent and child art project, where we’ll be putting together a bunch of LEGO monsters!

Meditation with Mamma G

Join Mamma G, Cactus Cancer Society, and Elephants and Tea for Guided Yoga Nidra Meditation!  Angie Giallourakis (aka Mamma G) will be leading guided yoga nidra meditation classes. This is in partnership with Elephants and Tea!

Quarterly Meeting: Prickly Rebels Club

Join us for a Prickly Rebels Club quarterly meet-up where we’ll share progress, design our badge stickers, and hear from folks in our community who have a knack for a certain badge skill.  It’s one part book club, one part Scouts, another part meet-up, and a whole lot of fun!

Guys Discussion Group

In this guys-only program, men with young adult cancer experiences can meet to chat and hangout. No agenda, and nothing is off-limits.

Survivorship Series 3.0

Calling all young adults facing AML, ALL, or Glioma! Join 25 of your young adult cancer peers, ages 18-45, through an eight-week program experience. You’ll hang out for 90 minutes each week to put together a LEGO Delorean set and then participate in a 30 minute focus group where you can give input on how to better the AML, ALL, and Glioma landscape.

Focus Group: Side Effect Management

We’re running a focus group around the topic of side-effect management and communication with support from Daiichi Sankyo. The Focus Group will include a discussion surrounding patient experiences and preferences on education surrounding side-effect management.
