Cut, Paste, Reflect: Writing and Collage for Right Now ✂️📝🎨

A writing and collage space for making sense of where you are right now

Sometimes the clearest way to understand where you are is to write it out. And sometimes, words only get you part of the way there.

In this creative space, we’ll combine it all to help you build clarity and intention. Guided by Lauren Morales, LCSW, and AYA survivor, you’ll start with guided writing exercises to explore identity, values, and your current experience with cancer. What’s changed. What’s stayed. What’s still unfolding. What may be coming.

Then we’ll shift into something more visual and artsy! Using collage, inspiration boards, or a loose vision board style, you’ll take what you just wrote and turn it into something you can see. This isn’t about setting goals or trying to become a different version of yourself. It’s about noticing, expressing, and giving shape to the version of you that exists today. You’ll keep your board as a visual representation of yourself.

This session draws on narrative, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment-based practices in a way that feels grounded, flexible, and actually usable in real life. No art or writing experience needed. You can keep it simple or go all in. This space is about expression, not getting it “right.”
