This is session two of a 6-session workshop series moderated by Anne Katz, PhD, RN, FAAN and an incredible group of expert guests.
It will be an online, live, interactive program and free continuing education credits will be offered. Each session will touch on a different topic related to AYA cancer, including sexuality, fertility, emotional health, and resources specific to AYAs.
During Session 2: Sexuality and Contraception for AYAs, you’ll learn all about the impact of cancer treatment on sexuality, why this conversation is so important for young adults facing cancer, and how you can address these impacts with this special population.

Learning Objectives:Â At the end of this session participants will be able to…
- Identify impacts of cancer treatment on sexuality
- Describe interventions to address these impacts
- Understand the need for contraception education for the AYA cancer population
- Describe and provide age-appropriate care to young adults with cancer
