Join us this June for an Art Workshop that’s bright, colorful, and rooted in celebrating Pride. We’ll be creating crystal suncatchers using beads, prisms, and rainbow elements that catch the sunlight and scatter it across your space. As the light moves through your piece, it becomes a reflection of visibility, expression, and the many ways people show up as themselves. This project has a few more steps than usual, so you’ll get to slow down, focus in, and enjoy building something piece by piece. There’s something really satisfying about watching it come together and then seeing it light up once it hits the sun. As summer rolls in, it’s a sweet way to bring more light, color, and movement into your space
This is also a space to be in community with other young adults who get it. You can chat, laugh, share what you’re making, or just settle into your own rhythm while creating alongside others. By the end, you’ll have a finished suncatcher you can hang in your window as a reminder of color, light, and the parts of you that deserve to be seen. It’s a little intricate, a little playful, and a really sweet way to spend time together during Pride Month. LGBTQIA+ community members and allies are welcome and celebrated in this space!
