Desert Dispatch: A Sustainability Pop-Up

I love projects that feel intentional and a little rebellious in the best way. The kind that invites you to slow down, touch real paper, and make something without pressure, performance, or an audience. That’s exactly what Desert Dispatch is.

For a limited time, Cactus Cancer Society is releasing a Desert Dispatch Sustainability Pop-Up, a limited-edition art experience with just 50 dispatches available. Intentionally small. Deeply personal. Made to be held, opened, and savored.

Each dispatch is created by young adult cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers and goes far beyond happy mail. It’s a moment of creativity and connection delivered straight to your mailbox—the kind that makes you pause and think, wow, this feels really good; paper still hits different!

Inside every Desert Dispatch, you’ll find a signed A5 art print, a personal letter from the artist, a gentle creative prompt, premium art paper for your own making, and a limited-edition sticker created just for this pop-up. No pressure. No perfection. Just curiosity and time.

When you purchase a Desert Dispatch, you’re supporting survivor-created artists and helping fund free creative coping and community programs for young adults impacted by cancer through Cactus Cancer Society. This is art sustaining art.

Each dispatch is $25 (U.S.) / $35 (international). Once the 50 are gone, the pop-up closes.

Inspired by the wisdom of the desert:

Grow slowly.

Store what sustains you.

Bloom anyway. 🌵
