In the United States, over 90,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer each year. That may sound like a lot, but these young adult patients are spread across the US and rarely meet others their age with cancer, making facing cancer as a young adult extremely isolating. We’re committed to changing that, but it’s only possible with your help.
Members of The Greenhouse, our monthly giving community, are foundational in supporting young adult cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. Over the last fiscal year, young adults facing cancer experienced a statistically significant reduction in anxiety, depression, and psychological distress after participating in Cactus Cancer Society programs – programs directly supported by members of the Greenhouse!
