A really good cup of coffee. Your dog doing something ridiculous. Sunlight coming through the window at exactly the right angle. A song you forgot you loved. A text from someone who gets it. That first deep breath when you finally get home.
Sometimes the good stuff is tiny.
This March, The Inner Canvas: Finding the Light is all about glimmers: those small moments of comfort, connection, pleasure, peace, safety, or hope that make something inside us go, oh, there you are. We’ll explore what our own glimmers look like and practice getting a little better at noticing them, even when life is complicated.
Through guided grounding and visualization, journaling, and therapeutic art response activities, we’ll play with the people, places, sensations, memories, and everyday moments that bring a little light into our lives. Using words, colors, doodles, reflection, and creative prompts, we’ll make some space for the small things that feel good, meaningful, comforting, or simply worth noticing.
Led by Lauren Morales, LCSW, this 90-minute creative drop-in includes plenty of room to reflect, create, experiment, and optionally share with other young adults who get it. No art experience required. Grab whatever supplies you have nearby and come find some tiny bits of light with us. ✨
