For Professionals

Are you a healthcare provider, allied health professional, researcher, or nonprofit professional?

Welcome to Cactus Cancer Society!  You are a critically important part of the young adult oncology world, and we are so excited that you’re here!

Many things are happening at Cactus Cancer Society, all geared toward offering young adult cancer survivors and caregivers (ages 18-45) the support and resources they need to thrive.  Our programs are offered online, so young adult cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, and co-survivors living anywhere can participate and connect with their peers.

Continuing Education

Build a strong foundation in young adult cancer care while gaining practical tools to support survivors long after treatment ends through our continuing education courses designed specifically for social workers, healthcare providers, and allied health professionals working with young adults facing cancer.

Both courses are online, self-paced, and available on demand, so you can start learning right away and progress at your own pace.  They provide both a big-picture understanding and practical interventions needed to deliver compassionate, developmentally appropriate care for young adult cancer survivors.

These courses are NASW-approved for continuing education credits for social workers.
