Cancer Secrets

Everyone keeps secrets. From the time we are young, we file some things away to keep as a secret, either as a white lie, a way to protect other people, or even a way to protect ourselves. But when those secrets are brought to the light: we can feel a lot less alone.

Enter Cactus Cancer Society’s program, Cancer Secrets.

All you need to do is decorate a postcard with your secret or confession (a la Post Secret) and send it anonymously to the Cancer Secrets address.

Want to get something off your chest? Admit the funny story you can’t tell anyone else? We invite you to share it with us, your prickly cancer pals. We’ll share postcard submissions anonymously on social media, allowing you and others to feel a lot less alone. What are you waiting for? Whether you’re a patient, survivor, or a caregiver, there’s a place for you to share those secrets.

P.O. Box 282
Bordentown, NJ 08505

Some secrets are too heavy to carry, even when shared on a postcard. If you are having thoughts of self-harm, need mental health-related crisis support, or if you are worried about someone else: call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor.
