Ready to make something tiny, mighty, and totally your vibe? This month, we’re diving into the world of zines: miniature DIY booklets that are part scrapbook, part journal, part magazine, part chaotic brain dump, and entirely yours. 📚✨
With images to cut up, stickers, markers, washi tape, and all the creative goodies we’ll mail straight to your door, you’ll craft a pocket-sized zine that holds whatever you’re carrying right now: hopes, reminders, playlists, doodles, rants, affirmations, visions, or even things you don’t have words for yet.
This workshop is low-pressure and high-creativity. You can collage, scribble, sketch, or just follow whatever direction your brain wanders. We’ll offer up some prompts in consideration of January: new Beginnings, and the end of the winter season brings opportunities for reflection, intention-setting, and story-building. Zines are a perfect opportunity to make room for the moment you’re in, messy, tender, uncertain, hopeful, complex, all of it.
Best of all, you’ll create your zine alongside the Cactus Cancer Society community, where connection and conversation flow just as easily as the glue. 💚 No art skills needed, just bring yourself and maybe a cozy drink or snack!
Let’s make something small that holds something big.
