Nourish, Nurture, & Renew: September-October 2023

All of us in the helping professions are vulnerable to being overwhelmed with the challenges and pain our clients and patients face.  In our commitment to helping others, we often overlook the toll it takes on our own lives.  Some of the consequences of becoming overwhelmed include exhaustion, less effectiveness, depression, impacted quality of life, and burnout.  This workshop, designed for social workers and other healthcare professionals, addresses compassion fatigue and burnout through journaling and developing a plan of self-care.

This workshop is based on evidence-based, peer-reviewed research that indicates that expressive writing has been successful as a therapeutic tool for improved health and well-being and general functioning.

It will be an online, live, interactive workshop and 12 continuing education credits will be offered.

Who: Social workers and healthcare professionals treating oncology patients.  (Please note, we are only able to provide CE credits to social workers.  If you are not a social worker, but would still like to take the course without receiving CE credits, click here to enroll for a discounted price.)
