A decade of ending isolation for young adults facing
cancer calls for celebration
Supporters, friends, and community members are invited to gather in celebration of our decade-long impact for more than 14,000 young adults facing cancer through creative coping and community. Celebrations will involve an exceptional tapas-style dinner, refreshments, and a curated gallery of art made by Cactus Cancer Society’s beloved community members.
During the evening program, one community member will be recognized with the inaugural Young Adult Advocate of the Year (YAAY) Award. Plus, attending the gala unlocks the chance to experience the magic of our community with a special, pre-gala creative coping workshop, starting at 10 a.m. on April 5 at TAROCCO.

Ticketing
For a limited time, we offer a launch rate of $150 per ticket to all Cactus Cancer Society 10th Anniversary Gala attendees. This price will remain for young adult cancer patients and survivors.
The ticket price for all other guests will increase to $175 on November 1, 2024 and $200 on January 1, 2025. Please purchase your tickets in advance to receive the best value.

Young Adult Advocate of the Year Award
The Young Adult Advocate of The Year Award recognizes 10 of the most engaged YA cancer patients, survivors, and advocates in our community. This year, for the first time, nominees are invited to campaign, advocate, and fundraise on behalf of Cactus Cancer Society for a chance to be earn the Young Adult Cancer Advocate of the Year (YAAY) award.
All nominees are invited to be honored at the 2025 gala and are eligible to receive a travel and lodging stipend. More details coming soon…
