Feb Inner Canvas Pages of Resilience: Honoring Black Voices Through Art & Reflection ✨📖🖊️

This February, we’re gathering for a special Inner Canvas session dedicated to creativity, courage, and honoring the impact of Black artists, writers, and visionaries. Pages of Resilience invites you to explore how the words of Black creators can spark your inner wisdom, and how art and gentle reflection can help you connect with the resilience you carry.

Together, we’ll begin with a meaningful quote from Black creators whose work centers truth-telling, imagination, and strength. You’ll then explore a practice called Echo Lines, where you’ll respond to their words with your own: writing, riffing, echoing, or artistic reshaping, whatever resonates.

From there, we’ll bring your page to life through an artistic Redactions & Illuminations. In this simple, expressive mark-making process, you’ll highlight what feels true, strike out what you’re ready to release, and visually shape the story you want to carry forward. Think underlines, circles, color accents, strikethroughs, borders, or small symbolic marks. No art skills required.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind “page of resilience” that reflects your inner landscape: a mix of truth, clarity, creativity, and voice that honors the work of Black artists and the wisdom of your inner experience.
