Save the date for Young Adult Cancer Gabfest 2023, which will be held this year from December 4 – 8! Our theme this year is “Building the Young Adult Cancer Roadtrip: Your Map for Survivorship.” YA Cancer Gabfest is an experience like no other, presented by Cactus Cancer Society and Elephants and Tea Magazine.

Summer is a time for blockbuster movies and our next Builders Workshop reflects that. Join us as we build the Jeep from Jurassic Park! What’s a builder’s workshop, you might ask? It’s an art workshop with a LEGO kit, with the same conversation and community from other Cactus Cancer Society that you’ve come to love!

A little kindness goes a long way – and so does a little reminder of the good in the world, too! Join us for an art workshop where we will create a Kindness Rock Garden starter set. You’ll receive all the supplies you need to participate. Before you know it, you’ll send a little spark of sunshine from our digital community into your local one!

Just dropping in to let you know that Cactus Cancer Society is taking our annual program break over the month of July! So what exactly do we plan on doing for the next 31 days?  Trust us, it’s not a vacation…  It’ll be business as usual over here as we strategically plan, grant write, map out programs, evaluate, and make sure we’re doing everything we can to encourage resilience and creativity in the young adult cancer community!
